Our commitment
Unique Wheels uses high-quality forged 6061-T6 premium aluminium alloy, a material widely used in high-performance automotive, aerospace and structural applications. We combine premium materials with controlled forging, machining and finishing processes to produce wheels designed for strength, performance and appearance.
Express warranty periods
Lifetime Structural Warranty: Unique Wheels warrants the structural integrity of the wheel against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the wheel while it remains owned by the original retail purchaser.
3 Year Paint / Finish Warranty: Unique Wheels warrants the factory-applied paint or coated finish against defects in materials or workmanship for three (3) years from the original retail purchase date.
These warranty periods apply to new Unique Wheels products purchased from Unique Wheels or an authorised seller, and proof of purchase is required.
What the warranty covers
Subject to the exclusions below, the warranty covers structural or finish defects that arise from defective materials or workmanship under normal road use and proper installation. If a valid warranty claim is accepted, Unique Wheels may repair the wheel, replace the affected wheel with the same or an equivalent product, or provide another remedy required by applicable law.
What is not covered
The express warranty does not cover physical damage or damage caused by external events or improper use. This includes, without limitation, impact with potholes, kerbs, road debris or other objects; collision or accident damage; bending, cracking, gouging or scratching caused after manufacture; tyre fitting or removal damage; incorrect installation or wheel-nut torque; use of incorrect fasteners, spacers or hub components; overloading; incorrect tyre pressures; misuse, abuse, motorsport or competition use; unauthorised machining, repair, welding, modification or refinishing; damage caused by incompatible cleaning chemicals, corrosive environments or inadequate maintenance; or normal wear and cosmetic deterioration that is not caused by a manufacturing defect.
Damage caused by vehicle fitment, suspension, brake, tyre or clearance issues that were not approved by Unique Wheels is also excluded from this express warranty to the extent permitted by law.
Paint and finish care
Paint and coated finishes require reasonable care. Wash wheels regularly using pH-neutral automotive products and clean water. Avoid acidic or highly alkaline wheel cleaners, abrasive compounds, harsh solvents, automatic car-wash chemicals that attack coatings, and prolonged exposure to brake dust, road salt or other corrosive contamination.
How to make a warranty claim
Contact Unique Wheels as soon as reasonably practicable after discovering a suspected defect. Please provide your name and contact details, original order or invoice number, vehicle details, wheel specifications, a description of the issue, and clear photographs showing the complete wheel and the affected area.
Claims can be sent to sales@uniquewheels.com.au or made by phone on 0407 624 520. Unique Wheels will provide the current inspection/return address and a return authorisation if physical inspection is required. Please do not send a wheel before receiving return instructions.
Claim and transport costs
Unless the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise, the customer is responsible for reasonable initial costs of making the wheel available for inspection. If the claim is accepted as a manufacturing defect covered by this express warranty, Unique Wheels will reimburse reasonable, pre-approved freight or inspection costs where required by law or agreed in writing. Keep receipts for any expenses you wish to claim.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This express warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Overseas customers
Unique Wheels ships worldwide. This express warranty applies to eligible Unique Wheels products supplied internationally, subject to applicable local law. International customers should contact Unique Wheels before returning any product so the most practical inspection and freight process can be arranged.
